Written in RTcmix and MAX/MSP/Jitter
The audio was made with the RTcmix instrument “WAVY” and data points taken from my continuous glucose monitoring system. I used all of the blood glucose readings from a 24-hour period to serve as the p-field for the first oscillator frequency.
The footage was taken on campus at SUNY Potsdam in the Performing Arts Center and the Crane School of Music. It was manipulated by the audio. The values from the amplitude affected the contrast and saturation of the images. The values from the frequency affected the speed of the video playback.
